Steve Cure from North Bend, Washington sent in this recipe for Venison Tenderloin in Gravy. Steve says he made this first time last year (2006) in hunting camp.
Venison Tenderloin in Gravy
- Venison Tenderloins (2)
- Green onion (2 or 3)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder(to taste)
- Flour(2 tblspn)
- Mushroom soup (1 can)
- Milk 1cup
Cut tenderloin into 1/4inch medallions. Brown in hot skillet with 2 tblsp flour add seasoning. When browned, add soup and milk. Stir in green onions 5 minutes before serving. Serve over rice, pasta or bread.
