Venison Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Venison Stuffed Peppers


  • 1# ground venison
  • 1# fresh ground pork
  • 1 cup finley crushed cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 green bell peppers
  • 1 quart of tomato juice
  • Recipe Instructions

    Place meat into a mixing bowl. Mix seasonings together, sprinkle seasonings over meat. Knead seasonings and cracker crumbs into the meat mixture. Beat egg into the milk, knead milk mixture into the seasoned meat until well mixed. Cut bell peppers in half and remove membrane. Stuff peppers with the meat mixture.

    Place stuffed peppers into an oiled baking pan, cover with tomato juice and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. basting with the tomato juice every 15 minutes. When done remove stuffed peppers and thicken tomato juice to make a gravy and pour over stuffed peppers to serve.
