Sure, you've had deer burgers, but have you ever had Jalapeno deer burgers? This recipe was submitted to the Readers' Corner by Jeff. I tried it and it makes great tasting venison burgers. Here's Jeff's recipe...
Spicy Deer Burgers Recipe (with Jalapenos!)
two pounds of ground deer meat
several Jalapeno peppers
salt and pepper
Chop or grind the peppers finely and add to the deer meat. Use however many you feel you can handle. Add two Tbs. of worstershire sauce, one tsp. garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Shape the meat into patties and grill until done.
Thanks Jeff, for the jalapeno burgers recipe. The hot peppers are a nice touch. When I tried it, I chopped up four Jalapenos (without the seeds) for the two pounds of meat. There wasn't quite enough heat for my taste, but you could definitely sense the pepper heat. Next time I'll leave in the seeds.
