Franks A-1 Deer Jerky

by Frank
(Deer country NY)

2# Deer Loin sliced 1/4 thick

1 cup - Mr Yoshidas Original Gourmet "Sweet & Savory"

1/3 cup - Worcestershire sauce

2/3 cup - A-1 Steak sauce

Mix all ingredients together and pour over sliced venison retaining about 1/4 cup for later use. Marinate for 24 hours in fridge. remove strips and place on dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 6 hours at 150
degrees or until desired texture is achieved.

This step is optional but I HIGHLY suggest you take the extra time. I usually flip the strips in 2 hour increments, At this time I use the retained 1/4 cup to baste the strips once per side. It takes more time to dry but the WOW factor received from everyone that tries the jerky is well worth the extra time it takes to dry. The end result is "ICKY STICKY GOODNESS".

This recipe has turned every venison doubter into a venison loving animal!!!! without exception!!!

You can substitute teriyaki for mr Yoshidas and still get awesome results.

This is My personal recipe Hope you enjoy it!!!
