VENISON MEATBALLS

Living in WV with 3 sons and a daughter all of whom liked to deer hunt, gave me an opportunity to use a lot of venison. I used the ground venison in a myriad of recipes. This is my favorite one for meatballs.
VENISON MEAT BALLS:
1 1/2 lb. ground venison
3/4 c. cracker crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
3 tbl. onion (chopped small)
dash of pepper
1/2 c. milk
SAUCE
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbl. brown sugar (light)
1/2 c. water
1 tbl vinegar
Combine venison, crumbs, salt, pepper, chopped onions, egg, milk. Mix well and form into meatballs. Place into a baking dish.
Mix the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and water. Pour over the meatballs. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour at 350.
Note: If you feel you need more sauce, just use the above ingredients and make a little more. Enjoy!
