Two pounds of venison, cut into 1/2 inch cubes Two tablespoons oil Two stalks celery One medium onion Two large carrots One cup chopped potatoes One clove garlic, minced One tablespoon chopped parsley One-half cup each of red wine and water One cup tomato sauce Salt and pepper
Add the oil to a hot skillet and brown the venison. Chop the vegetables into 1/2 inch pieces and place into the bottom of the slow cooker with the other ingredients. Place the browned venison on top of the veggies.
