As long as I can remember my mother used Coca-Cola as a marinade/tenderizer.
I continued to use it through my life.
Simply submerge the venison in Coca-Cola (Cocola as they say here in Georgia where I am from) in any container that you prefer.
Leave in the Coke anywhere from a few hours to overnight. The longer you leave it in the Coke the more the tenderizing effect on the venison.
We have always poured Coke in the roasting pan or the frying pan while cooking as well.This gives a somewhat unique flavor that is not overpowering to the venison.
