BACON MEATLOAF

Bacon Meatloaf


1-1/2 pounds venison, ground
dash pepper
1 small onion, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 large cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup sweet green pepper, diced
4 thick slices of bacon
2 slices of bread, cubed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In large bowl, place all ingredients except bacon. Mix and place in loaf pan. Pat it flat and layer the bacon strips over the top of the loaf. Place loaf on a cookie sheet to catch any drips. Bake for 90 minutes.
